BHU Recruitment 2025 – Apply Offline for 07 Program Assistant, Hospital Attendant & Other Posts
Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has released an official recruitment notification under Scheme No. 4191 (NPHCE Project) for filling 07 contractual posts at the Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS), BHU. Eligible candidates can apply for the posts of Program Assistant, Ward Sahayak/Hospital Attendant, and Sanitary Attendant by submitting the application in offline mode. 🎓 Eligibility Criteria
Program Assistant
- Second Class Graduate
- Minimum 6 months training in Computer (Office Automation, Bookkeeping, Word Processing) from a certified institution OR
- Second Class Graduate with Diploma in Computer (AICTE recognized)
Ward Sahayak / Hospital Attendant
- High School (10th Pass)
- Minimum 1 year experience as a stretcher bearer/ward sahayak in a reputed hospital
- Desirable: Experience in Geriatric Medicine Unit
Sanitary Attendant
- Class 8th Pass
- Minimum 1 year working experience
💰 Salary / Remuneration
- Program Assistant: ₹30,000 per month (Fixed)
- Ward Sahayak / Hospital Attendant: ₹15,000 per month (Fixed)
- Sanitary Attendant: ₹12,000 per month (Fixed)
- All posts are purely contractual
🎂 Age Limit (as on 30-12-2025)
- Program Assistant/Ward Sahayak: Maximum 35 Years
- Sanitary Attendant: Maximum 30 Years
- Age relaxation applicable as per government/university norms
- Age may be relaxed in exceptional cases by the Nodal Officer

📝 Selection Process
- Written Examination
- Skill Test (Computer typing test for Program Assistant)
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the test
- Candidates with experience in geriatric/old age healthcare will be preferred
📌 General Instructions
- The posts are purely contractual under the NPHCE project
- Extension will be granted as per NPHCE norms based on performance
- Services may be terminated if work or conduct is unsatisfactory
- Reservation will be followed as per BHU rules
- Qualification may be relaxed in exceptional cases by the Selection Committee/Nodal Officer
