MGU Assistant Professor Recruitment 2025–26 – Apply Offline
Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU), through the Institute for Integrated Programmes and Research in Basic Sciences (IIRBS),
has released an official notification for the recruitment of 01 Assistant Professor (Physics) on a contract basis.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- Educational qualifications must be as per UGC norms for Assistant Professor in Physics
- UGC-qualified candidates (NET/Ph.D.) will be given preference
- UG & PG degree certificates and mark lists must be provided
- Proof of UGC-approved / peer-reviewed journals with impact factor details required
- The CGPA-to-percentage conversion certificate must be attached, if applicable
- Degrees obtained from outside Kerala require equivalency certificate from MGU
🎂 Age Limit
- Maximum age: 70 years as on 01 January 2025
- Retired college/university teachers are eligible to apply
- Age criteria as per UGC Regulations
💰 Salary Details
- UGC Qualified Candidates: ₹40,000/- per month (Consolidated)
- Non-UGC Candidates: ₹33,000/- per month (if UGC-qualified candidates are unavailable)
- Engagement is purely contractual for the academic year 2025–26
