Diploma in Engineering & Technology in different disciplines (admission in the first year) in all Polytechnic Institutes
Eligibility : Passed /appeared* Madhyamik or Class 10 Equivalent Board Examinations with Science / Physical Science and Mathematics from any recognized Board/ Council/ Institute. * subject to submission of pass certificate / marksheet at the time of counseling / admission.
Age Limit : No upper age limit, but candidate’s Date of Birth should not be after 01.07.2009.
Online Application Form will be available in the websites https://scvtwb.in/ and https://sctvesd.wb.gov.in/
from 23rd February, 2024 to 15th May, 2024.
❖ Application Fee is Rs. 450/- (for valid Kanyashree enrollees: Rs. 225/-). Payment of application fee is to be made online through Net Banking / Debit Card / Credit Card / UPI.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR FILLING-UP OF ONLINE APPLICATION FORM
Online Application Form will have to be filled-in properly. Under no circumstances, any subsequent request for change in information, furnished by the candidate in the Online Application Form, shall be entertained. Special care on the part of candidates should be taken to prevent such error of omission and commission. Council is not liable for refusal of admission to a candidate by the Institutes from taking final admission even after getting allotment for wrong submission of information by the candidate. If any difference of information furnished by the candidate in the Online Application Form, and that furnished by the candidate at the time of counseling or thereafter is detected, it shall be treated as a case of furnishing false information on the part of the candidate and will result in cancellation of candidature. It is to be noted that detection of anomaly in respect of admission eligibility criteria at any stage (admission or registration or even afterwards) shall automatically cancel the candidature and no claim shall be entertained by the Council.
SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORM
Last Date of submission of Online Application Form is 15th May, 2024. The documentary evidence(s) in support of eligibility (citizenship, domicile, educational qualification, age etc.) and/or claims for reserved seats [i.e. Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe or Physically Challenged (Handicapped) or OBC-A or OBC-B etc., as applicable] need(s) to be produced by the successful candidates at the time of counseling / admission / registration. An applicant should ensure that he/she satisfies the requirements relating to Age, Educational Qualification, Caste, etc. before filling up the application form. If after scrutiny at any stage, it is found that an applicant is ineligible as per prescribed eligibility norms; his/her candidature will stand cancelled, even if he/she secures a position in the merit list or a seat is allotted to him/her or takes admission and gets registered. Applicants are requested to download the copy of the filled-in application form after submitting the application.
